Four and a half years

That's how long I have been trying to teach my kids to call for daddy in the morning. Has it ever worked? NO.

This morning, Daddy is away in Brisbane. Do you want to know what I heard from the snuggly comfort of my bed in the wee hours of the morning?

"DADDY, WE NOT HAD BREAKFAST YET"

What? You finally get it right on the day he isn't here?

Thanks Dragon.

  3. This morning I was woken up by "Mummy! I've done a wee in my nappy!" Don't ask how long he'd been calling out for.

  4. At least he got it. There's hope yet that he'll do it on a daddy morning!

  5. Daddies are so lucky, they only get the fun calls. Well, until they have teenagers.

  6. Ha ha funny! My mum tries to convince my sisters to call Dad instead of her, but I don't think it works!!! :)

  7. Sounds like typical kid behaviour! The only time Kitcat called for HB was when he was away.

  8. Oh, to be a daddy!!! I always tell Nurse Boy that I wish I were the daddy sometimes. Truth is, I do like being the mommy, but sometimes daddys have really good!

  9. My children always call for daddy now (only in the mornings - at night it's "mummy"!!!) Here's to hoping it's a new habit!

I'd love to hear from you, even if it's just to say "Hi, I stopped by for a read today"
