That's how long I have been trying to teach my kids to call for daddy in the morning. Has it ever worked? NO.
This morning, Daddy is away in Brisbane. Do you want to know what I heard from the snuggly comfort of my bed in the wee hours of the morning?
"DADDY, WE NOT HAD BREAKFAST YET"
What? You finally get it right on the day he isn't here?
Thanks Dragon.
LOL! Oh dear...isn't that always how it is?! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is hilarious! That's kids for you! Argh! :-)
ReplyDeleteThis morning I was woken up by "Mummy! I've done a wee in my nappy!" Don't ask how long he'd been calling out for.
ReplyDeleteAt least he got it. There's hope yet that he'll do it on a daddy morning!
ReplyDeleteDaddies are so lucky, they only get the fun calls. Well, until they have teenagers.
ReplyDeleteHa ha funny! My mum tries to convince my sisters to call Dad instead of her, but I don't think it works!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like typical kid behaviour! The only time Kitcat called for HB was when he was away.
ReplyDeleteOh, to be a daddy!!! I always tell Nurse Boy that I wish I were the daddy sometimes. Truth is, I do like being the mommy, but sometimes daddys have really good!
ReplyDeleteMrs.
My children always call for daddy now (only in the mornings - at night it's "mummy"!!!) Here's to hoping it's a new habit!
