Yoyo the Puppy
We just read tonight's story about a puppy called 'Yo yo' he was saved by a little boy who kept him warm by placing him inside his overcoat.
Of course, the boys thought this was a great story and wanted to reenact it by saving their own versions of Yo yo.
The stuffed dog 'Dougal' was good enough for Dragon, however Lion decided his Yo yo needed to be a little more 'special'.

I can't figure it out. What has he got there?
ReplyDeleteA crocodile, he rescued it from the nest as it was hatched.
ReplyDeleteLooks cosy!
ReplyDeleteFlannel PJs and undershirts! How cold is it up there? (We've just gone to winter PJs this past week, and I have to remind the girls to wear an undershirt. Getting down to 0C overnight and max of about 17C during the day.)
Mum-me- it's not cold enough for the flannies. Dragon had a nasty cough that came out at night and he won't keep covers on so he got the rugged up treatment which seems to have worked. Lion just wanted to wear his (but I wouldn't give him a singlet) even though he gets a bit too warm and has to kick the covers away. Once they go in the wash we'll go back to the light long pj's that are more appropriate for this time of year:)
ReplyDeleteOh so sweet. I'm sure the crocodile enjoyed the warmth.
ReplyDeleteTHey are seriously two of the most adorable kids, I swear!
ReplyDeleteOh that is sweet, especially since crocodiles are coldblooded and he definitely could do with some heat. ;)
