001/365

It's a new year.
Seems like a good time for a new project.
Project 365.
365 Photos.
A photo a day for a whole year.
I'm game...

001

One of the last photos of Monkey's lovely long locks.
*sniff*
This project 365 isn't the only new start for today.

Editors Notes: I'm starting this off in the main blog but I may transfer it all to a new blog if it gets too tricky to handle.  I reserve the right to post photos from my phone, I set up a blogging app today for just that purpose, some days I just don't get out the big camera, sorry.  The plan is, few or no words, just letting the images talk... after all, each one is worth 1000 words... or so they say.  So, have your input, and be prepared for me to ignore it, would you bother following another McTavish blog? Would you rather see them all here? Do you like green eggs and ham? Enquiring minds want to know...

  1. I can't believe Monkey is such a big boy now! Time flies when you're not paying attention.

I started using a phone app for 365, too, but I haven't discovered how it can link to a blog. I did well for a couple of months, but when school started.... I had already thought about trying it again just on my phone. It's a neat way to look back over the year.

My hope is to be back on the blogs a bit more this year. I've got some catching up to do... again.

    Happy New Year!

  2. I say you put it wherever you want. A separate blog or Flicker might be good for you personally so you can look back on it all at once for your own benefit at the end of the year.

I love this first shot! *sniff* I cried when Jonathan's locks were first cut.

  3. Aww cute. I don't know what I will be like when my girls get their first haircuts - I dread it!
If another blog helps you record and keep up with your Project 365 then I say go for it! I will follow another blog if that's what you decide to do :)
Looking forward to following this journey!

  4. NOOOOoooo don't cut off the hair. It grows them up too fast.

I would follow you to the moon so another blog shouldn't be a problem. I love your pictures almost as much as your posts.

  5. To answer your questions, yes I would follow, I think that's up to you and whichever one you find easier, and I don't know because I've never had green eggs, but knowing you, I'm sure you've dabbled with some creativity to produce just a thing. I don't know if I could give it a try. I know I could bring myself to eat your purple and green pasta all those years ago, but I would like to think I'm more adventurous now (*like to think* don't forget). There's just something about brightly coloured savoury food that my mind just knows isn't right.

I'd love to hear from you, even if it's just to say "Hi, I stopped by for a read today"
