A walk in the park

Here is the last of our ANZAC day trip to the park. We tried to get the boys to have their photo taken in front of the memorial but only Lion would cooperate. He wouldn't take his helmet off though, "Army men wear 'helments' mum".

He was facing me telling me something of great importance when I took this photo but that boy moves FAST! I like the shot I got though. This helmet was a gift from a guy that owns a skate shop in the same complex as the shop Wolf manages and I used to work in. He thought it was great that I ended up with a daredevil son and gave Lion a personalised skateboard and this helmet for his second Christmas. Yes, Lion was only 15 months old at the time. Skateshopman thought it was great. Lion thought it was great. Mummy McT will concede that it was very thoughtful of him to include a helmet for Lion's safety.

Lion had a blast being free to ride his bike along the paths on his big boy bike.

Lion started up here and felt that he had to assure me that "I'm not afraid of heights mum".

And of course, monkey see, monkey do.

I was trying to get a photo of the boys in this lovely garden path area but they just would not stay still! Too much to do, too little time.

  1. Aw...your boys are so adorable!!!! Looks like a great time was had by all!

  2. At least you got him to wear a helmet. I always made my boys wear a helmet.

My niece was in a coma for four months and her helmet actually saved her life!

  3. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has trouble getting an unblurry shot of those two.

  4. That looks like a wonderful place to visit.

  5. Great action shot! And I am so jealous of all that lovely green grass. (We are used to brown, crunchy 'grass'.)

  6. LOVE all of these fantastic shots! It looks like a great time with the kids! That last picture...OMGosh! It's total bliss and TOTAL BOY! LOL

  7. Sooo cute! Love the helmet! I used to dress my four oldest boys in matching outfits. The pictures bring back memories. What beautiful green plants.

  8. Your kids are awesome. I have a feeling your boys and my little one could get themselves in some serious trouble! The helmet is awesome. We have to get one for Jonathan in case he can finally reach the pedals on his trike!

  9. Looks like you had a nice time - even if they wouldn't keep still!

    Great photos!

  10. Love the pictures! Hope you have a super weekend! ♥ Hugs!

  11. What a gorgeous, gorgeous place to ride bikes and walk--just beautiful! And I love the one of Lion up on the wall--he looks like he's conquering the world!

I'd love to hear from you, even if it's just to say "Hi, I stopped by for a read today"
