Ya know...

I think it's a good thing these boys whinge and complain about being hungry and beg and plead for food all day and open every cupboard and stand longingly in front of the fridge and freezer with both doors open and get under my feet whenever I'm in the kitchen. If they didn't I might just forget they need to eat and let them starve to death before my very eyes! I can be forgetful like that.

I wonder how I survived, I mean, it's not like I ever did that to my mum...

As I write this Dragon has tipped his morning tea into a little bowl and is bounding around on the floor like a crazed puppy going 'woof, woof'. Never dull.

  1. LOL, How would they survive? Poor starving souls. I just want to know why meals aren't considered food, snacks are the only good thing to eat round these parts.

  6. We can't keep anything in our fridge or pantry longer than a day or two, they're ravenous. My six year old loves to clutch his stomach theatrically and say "I'm so hungry!" as if he's been foraging in the woods for a week and a half. Dinner, he pushes away just as dramatically - "Soooo full" after three bites and a dry heave. Such an actor.

  9. My kids were fooling around at dinner time last night (shocking I know) and they chose not to eat all of their dinner. By the time bath time rolled around they mentioned they were hungry. I actually told them "I guess you'll be REALLY hungry for breakfast tomorrow". I wouldn't have done that if they had eaten all of their dinner. I'm a big snacker so I understand but they're pushing the envelope a bit too much these days regarding EVERYTHING!!! My husband has been on a business trip all week...can you tell?!

    Much love from NJ,
