We went to the traffic training park this morning. Once upon a time it had traffic lights, road signs, proper road markings... the works. Now it is just the roads and the markings are dodgy white spray paint but it didn't matter to these three boys. We had a great time, it was overcast and cool (compared to our weather lately) and Aunty Cool and I sat (with Monkey) and drank coffee while J-Mac, Lion and Dragon peddled themselves silly. On the way home Lion told me "It was a good idea to take us to the bike road park, it wearded me out a lot". I told him I thought it was a good idea too, especially if it wore him out. "Yeah, I was riding so fast and so much that I woreded my leg out and now I just have to walk". It was also kinda cool that it's next to the main Ambo station so there was an ambulance leaving every few minutes with sirens blaring.
Oh, and those muffins... YUMMY! Butterless, eggless, milkless, deliciousness... NEVER expected that. Does anyone else find that whenever they say they'll bake something for an event or a gathering that you are always missing at LEAST one of those things??? No, just me?? okay.
So they weren't meant to be butterless, eggless, milkless muffins?

@Chimera - It is a butterless, milkless, eggless recipe. I had to hunt one down so I could bake them. It made 36 mini muffins + 6 giant muffins + 1 small bar cake... 24 hours later we still have the bar cake :)

ReplyDeleteHad planned to make canneloni last night and to be different was using fresh lasagne sheets for the tubes. I had all the other ingredients happening but couldn't find the lasagne sheets. Was worried that I had imagined them and would have to change plans half way through but they were found lurking in the back of the fridge. So, you are not alone.
That sounds like an amazing day of fun and food! I love those photos....it does look like a totally great day. I hope we get another one of those soon!
