One Month

I can't believe he's one month old already.

Weight - 3880 grams

Length - 53cm

He's such a sweet little man.
He smiles for me if I'm feeding him and rub his cheek JUST RIGHT.
He's smiled a couple of times for other things... like to laugh at my singing.
His longest stretch of sleep since he's been born has been 5 hours... once... only once.
He likes tummy time for a couple of minutes.
He wriggles himself like he's trying to crawl, and actually gets quite a bit of distance happening!
Just ignore the streak where he chucked on the pillow just as we were about to take his photo ☺

  2. Wow, Monkey you have your Great-Grandad's hair in this photo.

You are a cutie pie! You now have your Aunty Kate stumped - you really do look just like you, a little like Lion and a little like Dragon. I agree with Mummy, you are the tie that binds your two brothers.

Looking forward to seeing those smiles in the near future...

  3. He don't look too happy about it all. But he is too cute. I hope I can come round for a cuddle next week.

  4. Aunty Kate was a bit nicer. I just called him the missing link!

Funnily enough, the first person I thought of when I saw this photo was his Great Grandad.

Them's big shoes to fill Monkey my man !

  5. Awww, what a cutie! I can't believe it's been a month either, he's not even mine and it feels like it's flown by!

  6. Yep! I reckon that if I look through my old photos I will find a photo of Great Grandad with the same hairstyle and the same expression - I'd call it pensive ;)

  7. What a cutie pie.... He looks like he's going to be (or already is) a great thinker!

    Happy one-month birthday, Monkey!

  8. A month?! Okay, I know time flies, but babies need to remain kittens for longer than this!!!! Oh, and I was cleaning out our book closet because it was like a death trap in there, and I finally sat on the floor and thought, "How can I get rid of my beloved friends?" So, you see? We are twins who must have been separated at birth!

  10. Ha! I didn't even see the streak until after you pointed it out. I was too busy marveling at the cuteness of new baby. Love the giraffe print. And the tiny feet.

  11. He's so cute! Love his animal print diaper cover. How do the boys like him?

How's your hubby? Has he gone to the Dr. yet? My husband is taking his new diagnoses serious. The change of eating habits will be the hardest for all of us. We love starchy foods and junk food, ugh!

Hope you are well. Take care,
    Nannette

  12. I don't think I've seen his eyes open before so this is a treat for me. Oh...there is the one when he was a week old, but he's really got his eyes open here! Love it!

    He's a doll!

I'd love to hear from you, even if it's just to say "Hi, I stopped by for a read today"
