4WheelDrama

Scene: Two boys playing on the car mat with their trucks acting out a scene in their 4WheelDrama with deep truck-like voices and suitable truck-like grunts etc...

Truck #1 (Lion): Hey mate, this is our friend that was got by the bullet.

Truck #2 (Dragon): Yeah, he was got by the bullet. I can take him to the hospital.

L: Well they can’t help him at the hospital.

D: Well they can do a blood test.

L: Yeah and if they test his blood and find that it’s not pumping that means he’s dead.

D: Yeah.

L: Because I know these things because I used to work at the doctors.

(at the hospital)

L: I’ll listen to his heart ... it’s not beating, give him a blood test and see, the bullet might have gone straight through his heart.

D: No, it is.

L: No, because I heard his heart not beating. It means his engine is not revving. We might have to crush that vehicle and turn it into a toy for someone.

End Scene

So the question I put to you, good reader, is that reincarnation or recycling?

hehehe, reinCARnation... funny!

  1. Those boys have picked up on a few different issues in that conversation - more than I thought they knew, even if it is a little skewed. Little jugs. . .

  2. I love that in they eyes of the boys, if your dead it just means your engine's not revving.

    Priceless!!

Listening to little boys talk is one of my greatest delights.

Where have I been? You've posted about cakes and grandmas and all sorts of things. Sorry to have missed them but I'm all caught up now.

Ahhh, I guess I didn't realize how much I was missing you. Glad you're back.

  4. Vivid imaginations! Love your new header by the way.... The boys seem to have grown a lot since March when I was on last. And that little Monkey is adorable. All three favor so much.

I'd love to hear from you, even if it's just to say "Hi, I stopped by for a read today"
