Where in the world is Mummy McTavish?

Things have been a little quiet on here of late.  Sorry.

I am still taking photos.  I am still collecting cute stories in the form of short notes that hopefully I will remember what they mean later.  I am just not feeling well enough to do anything with them right now.

I've been feeling unwell for 4 weeks, I went down suddenly then picked back up for a few days to deal with the cyclone and then back down HARD.  I've been taking various antibiotics for 3 weeks but thankfully on Thursday my diagnosis went from "Mystery virus that we'll keep throwing different antibiotics at until it goes away" to Pneumonia.  At least they know what to treat that with.

I am spending my days moving between the couch and my bed.  I feel totally useless.  Every little thing makes me start coughing like I'm going to choke.  My brain can't concentrate on anything long enough to blog about it so the blog has taken a back seat for now.

Back to the doctors on Monday for her to decide if the antibiotics are working or if I need to get IV antibiotics in hospital... that's not on my plan.

So, that is where this little blog is right now.

I will come back.

I am even planning a little bloggy clean up to make sure all the links work and stuff so that should be fun.

For now though, you can find me on the couch.  Dreaming of eating crunchy things without my throat hurting.... mmmmm, potato chips.....

  1. You know that, just like cyclone Yasi, this is also my fault. It is part of the vortex of bad luck that is sucking us and everyone close to us into a pit of despair. Just kidding... I think.

  4. It's always good to know what's wrong with you, but it doesn't stop the aches and pains - if the Doc says hospital, then she knows best. We've been praying for you.
At least chips are a change from chocolates.

  5. Hoping that you are over the worst of it and you get the right cocktail of antibiotics to get you on the mend. Take good care of yourself.

I'd love to hear from you, even if it's just to say "Hi, I stopped by for a read today"
