037-043/365

Playing a bit more catch-up...

037

After leeching of others for electricity and a cool place to sleep we finally had a place all to ourselves... although, still technically leeching since it wasn't our house, we could watch Bones and Castle on Sunday night without worrying who else might want the TV.

038

Not sure what killed her.
Not sure that I want to know.
This 'little' fella was dead on our driveway when we ducked home to our hot, electricity-less house to grab some stuff.

039

School is back on and our regular walk to school is somewhat changed.
There's a few new obstacles to navigate around.

040

CUE PANIC
This is the point where, going through my photos, I thought I had found the first day of no photos.
Then I remembered taking this one of the boys chilling (way too close to the TV), that I took with Wolf's phone.
The no photo day will come, one day, just not today.
We moved back home this night.

041

Even the empire that is the Golden Arches is not immune to the destruction of a massive tropical cyclone.
The sign-writers around town are laughing though.

042

Sadly, this is the only photo I took this day.
Trying to take a photo for a friend of how many foils the hairdresser put in.
I think we had a miscommunication, I said 1/4 head of foils, she heard 3/4 head of foils... oh well.

043

When there's no electricity there's no washing machine...

  9. Spiders make me shudder! So sorry about the awful storm results! I find that the path to school (hypothetically) always has some obstacles to overcome! LOL Hope things are better!

Also, I was reading through a post from last year (linked to it from current post) - and I just wanted to thank you for your comment and your promise to "pray and pray and pray." Those prayers have made a difference for me and for my son:)

I'd love to hear from you, even if it's just to say "Hi, I stopped by for a read today"
